Amy Laverne Miner Pascetti, age 30, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado left this earth to be with Jesus on February 13, 2024. Her death was most likely caused by complications from her Type 1 diabetes that she had dealt with since she was 8 years old.
She was born December 26, 1993, giving her parents and two older brothers a wonderful Christmas gift. Despite being born with developmental delays, some hearing loss and vision loss, she enjoyed a full life. She worked part-time at Walgreen’s and State Beauty Supply. She enjoyed skiing, bowling and softball with the Special Olympics teams. She was involved in activities with True North, a peer group for young adults with special needs, which included a college class, a Bible Study and a cook group. She enjoyed STARS Trailblazers activities during the summer and early fall. She was a member and regular attender of Anchor Way Church. She professed her faith in Jesus as her Savior and was baptized last summer by Pastor David Bloom.
She loved animals of all sizes and shapes, with dogs and cats being her favorites. Dogs loved her and seemed to know that she would never hurt them.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Miner, and all four of her grandparents.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Connie and Gerald Pascetti, Hayden, CO; her fiancé, James Clark, Steamboat Springs; two brothers: Matt (Julie) Miner, Keenesburg, CO and Chris (Mary) Miner, Deer Lodge, MT; a stepsister Lisa (Randall) Dimick, Casper, WY, a stepbrother Angelo Pascetti (fiancée Nicki), Philadelphia, NY; 14 nieces and nephews; as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles and her parents’ cousins.
A celebration of Amy’s life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Anchor Way Church in Steamboat Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Horizons or True North.
