The Logan County Rodeo will be held August 7-20. Advanced ticket sales for the Rodeo and Breakfast will be available for sale on August 1.
Events: Sunday, August 14, a Country Music Jam Session will be held at the Logan County Fair Building. This event will take place at 2:00 p.m. with an ice cream social served by the Logan County Queen Committee.
Open Class Entry Day is Thursday August 18 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
4-H Events start August 7 with he Shooting Sports and go through August 20 with the Fashion show, Bake sale, and livestock auction all before the rodeo.
The Logan County Rodeo Queen and Princess Contest will take place Friday, August 19 at 10:00 A.M. A Luncheon is to follow at approximately 12:30 p.m. and the community is welcomed. The Coronation will take place after the Bareback Riding event at the rodeo Saturday, August 20. For more information contact Ellen Sailsbury @ 937-668-1227.
The Ranch Rodeo will take place Friday, August 19 with introductions at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 20, kicks off with the 13th annual Stapleton Stampede at 7:30 a.m. Next is the Fair Breakfast from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Stapleton Park. Also in the park will be a Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Tournament and a Double Elimination Corn Hole Tournament. The Logan County Fair Parade starts at 2:00 p.m. with the theme: “You Want Change? Volunteer!” To enter the parade call Melissa Kramer at 308-636-2560. The Stapleton Chamber of Commerce will host the Tailgate Barbecue from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Stapleton Park. Mutton Bustin’ and the Stick Horse Race starts at 6:00 p.m. with the Open Rodeo to start at 7:30.
