Kevin Victor Allison, age 56, died April 20, 2017 in Kalispell, Montana, of a heart attack. Kevin was born on August 21, 1960, to Wallace and Cecelia (Neumann) Allison in Imperial, Nebraska.
Kevin was a 1978 graduate of Stapleton High School and Southeast Community College, Milford Campus. He was a veteran of the Air Force and the Army. He worked as an Engineer at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. Kevin was a hardworking, kind man, with a quirky sense of humor and a fierce devotion to his family. Though he was raised in the Sandhills of Nebraska, the mountains called him home to Montana. He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his free time fly fishing, hunting, and, of course, planning his next hunting trip. He loved to tell stories about his adventures, complete with sound effects, to anyone who would listen. Kevin will be greatly missed.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Cecelia (Neumann) Allison; his siblings: Kendall Allison, Kristin Opela, and Kent Allison; his children: Amy Allison Thompson, Emily Richmond, Julia Allison, and Samuel Allison; and, the light of his eye, his grandchildren: Ty Terry, Eva Richmond, and Avery Richmond. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Dean Allison.
Recitation of the Rosary was held on Saturday, April 29 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Stapleton.
Mass of Christian Burial followed. Inurnment and an Air Force Honor Guard Ceremony was at Loup Valley Cemetery, west of Stapleton
