Margaret A. Arensdorf

Margaret A. Arensdorf, 83, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away January 29, 2024 at Centennial Park in North Platte.  She was born January 11, 1941 to Thomas Patrick May and Harriet Agnus Wilson in North Platte.

Margaret graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1959.  She was united in marriage to Ralph W. Arensdorf on February 14, 1960 at the Episcopal Church in North Platte.  The couple lived on the Gale Morgan Ranch then went to the Arch Leu Ranch in 1960.  In May of 1970 they went to work for Pawnee Springs Ranch north of Sutherland.  During their time living at the ranches, Margaret cooked and raised her family.  In 1978 they moved to the Pioneer Ranch north of Tryon, in 1988 they moved to North Platte, purchased a house and Ralph worked for Henry Feedlots.  In 2012 Margaret moved to Centennial Park.

She will always be remembered as a very good cook.  Margaret raised chickens for many years and loved her houseplants.  Margaret loved her family and was always happy to see her great-great granddaughter.  She enjoyed coloring books, football, wrestling and Jeff Dunham.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Tom (Shelli) Arensdorf, Hershey, Kim (Roger) Trumbull, North Platte, Pat Arensdorf, North Platte;  grandchildren, Ashley (Tylan) Gayman, Hershey, Tiana (Andre) Palser, Big Springs, Wendy (Rod Schall) Trumbull, Kearney, Tracy (Rocky) Wiezorek, North Platte,  Holly Trumbull, Kearney; and great-grandchildren, Reagyn Beachner, Kayson Beachner, Emberley Gayman, Coy Gayman, Berklei Walker, Breelynn Litz, Jestena Wiezorek, Kaurlee Wiezorek, Lilye Wiezorek, Mystre Wiez-orek, Novalia Wiezorek, Olyve Wiezorek, Camer-on McClellen; great-great granddaughter, Paisley Richards-Wiezorek; along with numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister Avoline Sowards.

Memorials are suggested to the Episcopal Church.  Online condolences may be shared at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home www.adams swanson.com.  Memorial services were held Monday, February 5, 2024, at the Episcopal Church in North Platte, with Rev. Steve Meising officiating.  Burial followed at Fort McPherson National Cemetery south of Maxwell, Nebraska.
