Sid Harchelroad, 57, longtime resident and businessman of Imperial and Wauneta, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018.
Survivors include his mother, Wilva Harchelroad of Wauneta; wife, Carol Harchelroad of Imperial; children, Danielle Rozga (Levi) of Eagle, CO, Amanda Jantz (Cody) of Imperial, Dillon Harchelroad (Ashley) of Imperial, and Dustin Weiss (Cyndi) of Imperial; brother, Brian Harchelroad (Michelle) of Wauneta; sister, Debra Kemp (Jim) of St. Louis, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
Sid was owner of Harchelroad Motors, Inc., a family-owned business that will celebrate 83 years of operation this year.
Sid was a strong supporter of the Sandhills Open Road Challenge in Arnold and was known by many as generous, big-hearted and outgoing.
He touched the lives of many through his generosity and leadership.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 6, at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial with the Rev. David Kahle officiating.
A celebration of life was also held Tuesday, February 6, at the Wellington School Gym in Imperial.
