Karen Irene (Powell) Kramer, was born January 22, 1945 in North Platte, Nebraska to Alver and Maxine (Wilson) Powell. She passed away August 13, 2019, surrounded by her family. Karen grew up and attended school in North Platte, graduating from North Platte High School on June 4, 1963.

Dalene Hanna age 66, of Purdum, NE passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at the Jennie M Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow, NE.Funeral services will be Saturday, August 10, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Church of Christ in Purdum, NE with Pastor Diana Jahn officiating. Burial will be in the Purdum Cemetery.

Lyle Kenton Hardesty, formerly of Stapleton, Nebraska. passed away Friday, June 21, 2019, in Fremont, Nebraska.Born in Hyannis, Nebraska, on July 20, 1941, to George Kenton and Enid LaVon Hardesty, Lyle attended various country schools in McPherson and Hooker Counties. In May 1955, he moved with his family to southeast McPherson County where his parents had purchased a ranch.

Monica Harvey, age 71 of Stapleton, NE, was “Welcomed Home” to the gates of Heaven on August 2, 2019 after a brief stay in Hospice at the Callaway Good Life Center. She was born on May 27, 1948 to Eben “Scotty” Scott and Esther (McCaslin) Scott. She grew up on the McCaslin family homestead east of Broken Bow.

Maxine Elaine Bradley age 94, a long-time resident of Brewster, died on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings, NE. Maxine resided in Brewster until 2017 when it became necessary to move in with her son and daughter-in-law in Hastings.Maxine was born April 21, 1925 to Rudy and Florence (McCreath) Niemoth in Thedford, and was raised at Calf Creek, north of Thedord. Maxine graduated from Thedford High School in 1942.On Feb 15, 1947 Maxine was married to Darwin Bradley.
