Renee Joyce Wilkins, age 85 went to be with the Lord on Friday June 23, 2017 at Cozad Care Center in Cozad, NE.Renee was born May 19, 1932 in McPherson County to Orval E. and Della (Hall) Black. She worked alongside her father in Black’s Cash Store and attended school in McPherson County, graduating with the class of 1950.

Pamela K. Brabham, age 70 of North Platte, passed away June 18, 2017 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg. She was born August 1, 1946 at Denver, CO to Lynn and Virginia (Pattison) Leaf.

Jim Bob Cassell, 38 of Ogallala, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his home. Jim Bob was born January 29, 1979 at North Platte, Nebraska to William “Bill” and Velda (Dunlap) Cassell. Jim Bob was raised in Stapleton, and attended Stapleton High School.Jim Bob worked in construction for several years in and around North Platte, primarily in concrete and asphalt.

Sanford “Sandy” Kay Neal, age 70 of Tryon, passed away in the Sandhills, that he loved, on Saturday, June 10, 2017.Sandy was born on February 5, 1947 in North Platte, NE to Archie and Cleo (Paxton) Neal.  After graduating from McPherson County High School in 1964, he continued working on the family ranch.  He married Margaret “Peggy” Kathryn Homan in North Platte on November 11, 1977, and the couple continued to ranch. Thomas “Tom or Tommy” Michael Ellis was born June 4, 1945 in Sioux City, IA to Thomas and Mable Ellis.  At a young age, his family moved to Tryon, NE where his dad worked in the David family store.Upon graduating from high school, Tom attended Chadron State College for two years.  During this time he met and fell in love with Donlinna “Donnie” Vetter from Stapleton, NE.

William Thomas Sierks, 82, of Dunning, NE, passed away at his home on June 2, 2017. Tom was born to Charley and Ivy (Shannon) Sierks on August 15, 1934 as the youngest child of five. His siblings were Charles, L.
